CHIROPRACTIC CARE FOR JAW PAIN (TMJ)

 

Studies have demonstrated the efficacy of chiropractic care in reducing the symptoms of TMJ dysfunction.

Symptoms of a dysfunctional TMJ include

  • Inability to open mouth correctly with ear pain

  • clicking of the jaw upon opening the mandible

  • clicking, locking, stiffness upon mouth opening

  • jaw and ear pain with frequent clicking

  • popping when opening jaw, and increasing pain on chewing

  • Jaw Clenching

  • Jaw pain with headache
