Since I’ve been in chiropractic, I’ve improved by leaps and bounds both mentally and physically.

 ATHLETES LOVE CHIROPRACTIC!

Recent research from New Zealand suggests that the functioning of your spine influences your strength and muscle endurance. A study in 2014 conducted at the Centre for Chiropractic Research in Auckland investigated the effects of chiropractic care on students' muscle strength. They found that students who received chiropractic care were able to produce 16% more force in their leg muscles after chiropractic adjustments, while the control group, which did not receive adjustments, experienced muscle fatigue.

This study indicates that spinal and nervous system function plays a significant role in the brain's ability to generate force and prevent muscle fatigue during repetitive contractions. Interestingly, the results of a single session of chiropractic care were similar to those observed in individuals who underwent three weeks of strength training.

Further research involving elite Tae Kwon Do athletes confirmed that even highly trained athletes benefited from a single session of chiropractic care, improving their strength and reducing fatigue. While the long-term effects of these strength changes are still unknown, these studies underscore the substantial impact of spinal function on overall health and performance.
